As an architecture firm, HCMA has always been dedicated to creating buildings that reflect the unique lived experiences of the people who use them. Whether it is a school, community centre, or a library, their structures are designed to be a true reflection of the communities that they serve. Despite this, typical industry reports aren't able to fully convey the emotional impact of their buildings. These stories need something more emotive.
Our involvement
That is why they have teamed up with Vancouver-based production company Kahani Pictures to create a short documentary series that showcases some of their most acclaimed projects and shares the stories behind people's reactions to these iconic structures. Through emotive narration, stunning visuals, and personal testimonials, these films will help to demonstrate HCMA's passion for creating spaces that embody human emotion and make a meaningful impact on people's lives.
